So summer sun beckons an icy refreshing drink and usually my go to Starbucks drink is a Vanilla Chai Tea frappuccino with a shot of espresso, however, when entering my local Starbucks I saw an advertisement for Teavana Shaken Iced Tea. Now I love iced tea so the curious kitten in me needed to try it.
Out of the 4 available teas I played it safe and ordered the Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea.

So starting on Flava … sorry *coughs* I mean flavour: this was a plain Hibiscus iced tea but to my palate, it had a hint of blueberry. This was a pleasant surprise and highly enjoyable on the somewhat hot day here in the UK. It was filling, flavourful and refreshing. My only issue was that the ice as it melted watered down the flavour of the tea, something that cannot be helped of course but if I were to order it again (which I probably will) I can just request less ice. A definite recommendation for those wanting to try something cold from Starbucks and if you don’t like Hibiscus there’s Green Tea, Black Tea or Peach and some other Teavana teas to try. So grab and enjoy =^.^=
I was so tempted to try this the other day as they’ve stopped doing the chocolate marshmallow smore frappe 😦 Might have to give it a go next time xx

I definitely would try. there are different flavours and styles if you don’t like just classic iced tea so you can get something to best suit your palette 🙂

ll of their iced teas taste watered down because they add water to tea concentrate then pour it over ice that melts adding to the water. You can order them without water and they just give you the concentrate over ice which has a much stronger taste. It’s def worth a try.

I don’t know what kind of teas Starbucks have in the UK and if there are any differences with what they have here in the U.S. I particularly like a “Peach green tea lemonade” on those hot days, especially here in Southern California. I have tried the hibiscus tea sample at a Teavana store at a mall here, I liked it too!
Great review! I don’t know if the Starbucks here in the U.S. have that particular hibiscus tea. I know they have something called, “Passion Tea.”

We’re on a trial basis I believe so they’re seeing if they’re popular before bringing out more in the range we currently have “blackberry mojito with lemonade”, “peach green tea with lemonade” and classic iced tea in three varieties: black, green or hibiscus =^.^=
